JavaOne 2014 – Day 3

You might have noticed that we changed the format a bit. Before we tried to combining sessions within a single category by merging our stories. However, I recognized that this was not working for me, because I like to give my personal opinion on the topic and that is not really possible when assembling and merging our experiences of sessions.

This day we had a full program of until seven with sessions. I attended some sessions about checkerFramework, Vert.x, Open dolphin, OWASP ZAP and wearables. I thought Vert.x and ZAP were the most interesting (and useful) for me in technical perspective. The wearables talk was very interesting in a futuristic kind of way (window into the future), but I think at this moment it will take a lot of time to create wearables. It is like pioneering. I skipped my last session about Scala to eat and finish some blog posts.

In the evening we went to the Oracle Benelux (dance) party, which was nice.
